New book helps organizations build healthy cultures

Looking to build a healthy culture in your organization? Then you might want to pick up a new workbook written by Margie Weiss of Neenah.

“Transformative Healthcare-Nurturing Healing Connections” is built around topics that can be used for discussion groups, lectures and conversations about how to live a healthy life. Weiss, who was profiled in the January 2010 issue of Insight, is not only a certified LEED professional but also a trained nurse and former school administrator and healthcare provider CEO. The combination of those two areas helped her create ways to help businesses with their triple bottom line of people, profits and planet.

The workbook contains case studies from local, innovative, award-winning businesses who participated in the HS3™  Best Practice Exchange.  Weiss also includes examples of how environments can be designed and built to enhance healthy, sustainable health care delivery.
