New North firm helping in oil spill clean-up

A New North company has ties to the massive clean-up of the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.

NPS Corporation, a Green Bay manufacturer of industrial and marine spill control products, is supplying absorbent booms and oil absorbent pads to help in the clean-up operation, says president Andrew F. Hetzel Jr.

“We have ramped up our production capacity 24-7 to supply the region with

Founded in 1996 by Hetzel, NPS markets a line of spill control products under its SPILFYTER brand name and a line of tissue and towel products under its RESPONSE brand name.
