Conference puts focus on manufacturing

Now that April is nearly here, it’s
time to draw attention to one of the biggest events in the state for
manufacturers.

Manufacturing Matters! will be held
April 20 at the Midwest Airlines Center in downtown Milwaukee. Sponsored by the
Wisconsin Extension Manufacturing Partnership, the event is the only conference
in the state dedicated to the knowledge transfer of best business practices
between small and mid-sized businesses.

The conference provides information
to help owners and managers better understand what’s need to become a next
generation manufacturer. Don Peppers, an acclaimed business speaker and author,
is the event’s keynote speaker.

Since Manufacturing Matters! first
started a few years ago, it has continued to grow as businesses discover the
event is a great way to share ideas, network and learn more about the industry’s
best practices.
