CONNECTIONS – Green Bay set to shine – Annual expo draws more than 1,000 attendees to KI Center
The annual Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce Business Expo will be held at the KI Convention Center on Feb. 29 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission is free with a business card.
“The later timing of the event allows for business people to get there after work if they are unable to get away during the workday,” says Marilyn Heim, special events manager for the Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce.
Last year’s event played host to more than 1,000 attendees and 200 exhibitors.
“We usually have a good turnout,” she says.
The expo will feature two panel discussions as well as two stand-alone seminars. The first seminar begins at 10:30 a.m. with Patrick Hopkins of Imaginasium discussing “How to build a winning customer experience.”
The second seminar, “Cloud computing – is it right for your company?” will be presented by Mike Venaccio of SRC Technologies, Inc. and starts at 12:30 p.m.
The event also features a social media panel discussion beginning at 2 p.m. The discussion will be facilitated by Dana VanDenHeuvel of The MarketingSavant and will include Brad Ludwig of Midwest Communications; Tori Grant-Welhouse of WLUK Fox 11 and WCWF-TV; David Troup of DM iNTERACTIVE; Alan Petras of Advertising Rainmaker; Ross Mollat of Arketype; and Wayne Breitbarth, a local LinkedIn guru.
The second panel discussion begins at 3:30 p.m. and will focus on health and wellness. The discussion will be facilitated by Kay VanBoxel of Healthy Lifestyles Cooperative. Other panelists will include Janis Robertson of Clarity Care, Graham Ness and Sherry Freeman of Foresite Benefits LLC; William Snyder of Humana Vitality LLC; and Christine Utech of Utech Consulting, Inc.
