The Fox Cities Chamber Business Expo will be held from 1:30 to 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 6 at The Radisson Paper Valley Hotel. The annual event is moving from its traditional September date to June this year and will immediately follow the Chamber’s Business Awards luncheon program. - Tuesday, June 12: The Economic Development Corporation of Manitowoc County will be hosting a free internet marketing seminar from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the EDC office at 202 N. 8th Street, Suite 101, Manitowoc. Topics include: Making your product visible on the Internet, understanding “The Red Car” effect, search engine optimization, and low-cost versus no-cost marketing options. - Thursday, June 14: Speaker Noah Rickun, an innovator and sales expert, will speak from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Butte Des Morts Country Club at 3600 W. Prospect Ave., Appleton. The event is sponsored by Fox Communities Credit Union. Rickun is former CEO of Jeffrey Gitomer’s TrainOne, the world leader in online interactive sales training and personal development. - Sunday, June 24: The Chamber Challenge, a competition of two- and four-person relay teams participating in the HFM Maritime Marathon, will be sponsored by The Chamber of Manitowoc County. Chamber member businesses wishing to participate are encouraged to gather up relay teams consisting of employees, co-workers, spouses, children or grandkids. Cash donations will be made in the name of the chamber-member business that each relay team is representing and donated to team’s declared charity partner, which must be a non-profit doing business in Manitowoc County.
